Hey lovelies! So I've just posted a new video on my channel featuring some of the outfits I threw together over the last week - I put heaps of effort into this video and I think it's probably my best yet so I'd love for you to check it out and let me know what you think!

Oops, I did it again, I bought lots of stuff!
Did I really just write that? Don't judge me!
Anyway - I bought some new stuff which I love, love, love, and made a haul video to share it with you guys! I'll be including the clothes in future lookbooks and probably be doing product reviews on the beauty items I purchased quite soon too - let me know what you'd like to see first, and I hope you enjoy the video! <3

Smart but Casual Black & White
11 October 2015 • black, black & white, black and white, casual, fashion, Fashion & Beauty, Fashion Blogger, how to, how to dress smart casual, neutral, smart, smart casual, style, style advice, Style Blogger, style tips, white
My Outfit:
Waterfall Jacket - Ally Fashion
Striped Layered Crop - Ally Fashion
High Waist Shorts - Sophie Charlotte Italy
Ankle Boots - Spend Less Shoes
* Okay, just a disclaimer, please excuse the horrid background, I wanted to take photos against the house because the wall is white and relatively okay looking but there was stuff all against it and the sun was too bright and so this orangey looking old fence had to do! :'( *
I always used to struggle with the whole 'smart casual' thing. I mean, what am I supposed to wear? Smart and casual have always been two totally different things if I'm not mistaken!?!?!
But, after playing around with my wardrobe, both old and new pieces, I managed to put together this simple look that doesn't look super 'officey' and OTT, but also doesn't leave you looking under-dressed!
When in doubt, keep it neutral - that's my motto, anyway. Black and white are always winners, as well as greys, denim, and sometimes cream/beige colours.
I think a black waterfall style jacket is an essential wardrobe item, it really can make any outfit look that little bit more 'organised' and put-together, yet it still looks totally effortless and casual!
And if the weather is a little on the cooler side wherever you are, switch the shorts for pair oh high-waist black (or white!) skinny's and you're good to go!
Hope you liked this outfit post!

Cropped Knit Sweater - Boohoo.com
Denim Shorts - Factorie
Murano Glass Bead Bracelet - Venice, Italy
Sandals - Mum's
Hey lovelies! It's been a really long time since I've done an outfit post for you guys and I'm really excited to be back with this look for you all!
I've been super busy with uni assessments and exams and all that - it's been so crazy and there's been so much to do that I simply haven't had much time to actually get out and get some photos and sit down and write, which has really sucked! But luckily, things are coming to an end and by next week I'll be back to posting on a more regular basis!
I'm actually really happy with this outfit - I'm loving whites and denim and blues as the warmer weather arrives and this outfit really embodies all of those things! It's casual but still put together nicely, and I've added my gorgeous Murano Glass bracelet I picked up last year in Venice to add a little something, along with a pop of pastel blue on my nails! And just a heads up, you're probably gonna be seeing a lot of these shorts over the hotter months, I seriously love them!
What colours are you loving in your wardrobe right now? Let me know in the comments below!

The perfect pair by Maybelline: Lash Sensational Mascara and Hyper Sharp Liner
16 September 2015 • Beauty, Beauty Blogger, Beauty review, Brisbane Blogger, Fashion & Beauty, Hyper Sharp Liner, Lash Sensational, Makeup, Makeup Blogger, Makeup Review, Mascara, Maybelline, Review, Winged Eyeliner, Winged Liner
Okay. So a couple of days ago while I was out at uni, mum decided to pick up these fab new Maybelline products for me from Big W. They were on sale so she grabbed them on a whim, and I'm so glad she did! I had been wanting these ever since they came out - there's been so much hype about the amazing new pairing and I really wanted to try it out for myself!
I've always been a Maybelline mascara kinda girl, always alternating between the falsies/black drama mascaras (y'know, the ones in the dark purple tub? love them). I really didn't think they could improve on such a great, affordable mascara, but of course Maybelline's proven me wrong! The Lash Sensational Mascara is an amazing, thick liquid that really thickens and elongates your lashes. Honestly, it makes your lashes look like (very natural looking) falsies (if that makes sense, I don't know haha!) even more so than the alternative Falsies Mascara - which mind you, already did a great job!
It helps that the applicator is designed really well, it's got a slight curve to it which helps the product glide on and spread your lashes simultaneously to really make them pop, which is also helped by the strong bristles that really get into the lashes and give them a proper coating!
I've actually only recently gotten into eyeliner, having always been too scared to use it, worked up the courage, come out looking like Taylor Momsen after a big night out (note: I actually love Taylor, but those raccoon eyes were definitely something else!) and decided it wasn't worth it, only to repeat the process several times.
But I decided to give it another go, and I realised that it's not as hard as it looks - I've actually been using the wrong liners all along!
The Hyper Sharp Liner has a sharply pointed long felt (so not actually 'sharp' like it's gonna poke your eye out, haha) tip that glides on with ease and definitely makes for the best winged liner (or for a nice clean line for an everyday look!), something you could easily get right even as a beginner! The liquid is smooth and long lasting - so no need to worry about smudging throughout the day!
I can honestly say that I'm obsessed with these products!
Have you tried either of these products before? What do you think of them?
